Hi - my name is Oscar and my brother is called Lex. We are the 'Blogging Brothers'. We are going to travel around Central America and tell you all about our adventures.
We are going to miss school for 4 months because we are 'too cool for school!' I'm a bit worried about missing my friends though. Also mum says we have to do work everyday and that sounds a bit boring.
I'm the small and cheeky one and I'm six. My big brother is the smart and sensible one and he's nine.
We wont be home at Christmas so I'm a bit sad and nervous because I am scared Father Christmas will not find me. I live for Lego!
I designed this Lego catapult |
Have fun boys! I shall look forward to reading all about your adventures while you're having a super-exciting time, and I'm stuck at home in rainy Colchester!

Thank you for being the first to comment. We promise to practice our footwork when we are away! We will use sticks as swords.
DeleteHi Oscar and Lex - my name is Fleur and my dad is Peter who used to work with your dad. I am looking forward to reading your news. I am learning Spanish like you at my school on Friday afternoons. I like reading your favourite things lists. My favourite things are reading, maths, judo, piano and looking after my dog Bruce. Love Fleur x
ReplyDeleteHola Fleur! - Nice to meet you:)Thanks for reading our blog. We really want a dog but mum won't let us. We've got chickens instead! She did say that we could have a furry pet when we come back though.
DeleteWell boys I have found your blog and will be following your travels with great interest. Just remember I will want to see correct punctuation and grammar. Will make sure mum keeps an eye on your handwriting Lex! Can't wait to read about your adventures. Mrs. Platt
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading our blog Mrs Platt. We hope to visit a school in Nicaragua that we can talk about when we come back.
DeleteHi boys, my name is Christine and I'm in the Etsy Crafty Folk team, which is how I found out about your amazing trip. You're going to have a fantastic time and I look forward to following your adventures.
ReplyDeleteMy son is planning a trip too (he's 22). He's hoping to go to northern India to teach English to Tibetan refugees in the Himalayas. He hates needles though and isn't looking forward to the vaccinations he'll have to have. He won't have to take malaria tablets though because the mosquitos don't live where he's going because it's too high.
Vaccinations - we've had so many we feel like we've sat on a porcupine! But seriously we'd rather have vaccinations than malaria tablets. Will there be snow where he is going? If so here's a top tip....never eat yellow snow!
